SUAMICO, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Brown County are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who allegedly used a counterfeit $100 bill.
According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on Friday, June 6, at around 4:30 p.m. at the Pet Supplies Plus on Lineville Road in the Village of Suamico.
A woman, described as an African American female with long pink hair, glasses, wearing a leopard print headscarf, a jean jacket, and pink sweatpants, entered the store and purchased a dog toy worth $18.97 using a counterfeit $100 bill. She received $81.03 in change.

Authorities suspect that the same woman committed similar crimes at a neighboring business in Suamico and at a Pet Supplies Plus location in the Village of Ashwaubenon. In both instances, a counterfeit $100 bill was used.
