GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Students in the Green Bay area are still receiving free meals over the summer, courtesy of the Green Bay Area Public School District (GBAPSD).
In a release, the GBAPSD said the program begins on June 11, with the first meals handed out to students at Joannes Park. But, it’s not just students, it’s for anybody 18 or younger, no matter if they’re enrolled in a GBAPSD school.

Adults 19 or older can purchase meals with cash only, but at different rates depending on the meal.
- Breakfast – $3.25
- Lunch/dinner – $5.50
- Extra milk carton – $0.50
- Bottled water – $1.25
- Snack – $1.50
“It’s a great partnership between the City of Green Bay and the schools,” Mayor Eric Genrich said. “For us to partner and make this possible for families throughout the summer months, it’s important.”
The program runs until August 15; however, there is no service at any location from July 2-4.
