KANSASVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – Multiple agencies in Wisconsin were dispatched shortly before 10 p.m. on Tuesday for a report of a crash with injuries that resulted in significant damage to the vehicles.
The Kansasville Fire & Rescue Department reported that the Racine County Sheriff’s Office sent deputies to respond to the reported crash near the intersection of County Highway BD (formerly State Highway 75)/ S. Beaumont Avenue and Delaney Road.

Units responded quickly and found a black GM pickup truck that sustained severe damage with the airbags deployed. Significant debris was also found on the road. A red Chevrolet Blazer also had significant damage with the airbags deployed, nearly 150 yards north of the pickup truck.

Both vehicles were only occupied by a driver at the time. Deputies diverted traffic, while paramedics assessed both drivers for injuries. One driver was taken to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The other driver declined treatment and transport from the scene of the crash, which is still under investigation by the Racine County Sheriff’s Office.
