FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – Following the release of the Wisconsin State Patrol’s ‘Click It or Ticket’ campaign results, the Fond du Lac Police Department has announced numbers of their own.
According to a release from the Fond du Lac Police Department, the ‘Click It or Ticket’ campaign in Fond du Lac from May 19 to June 1 resulted in a total of 248 traffic stops.

Of the 248 traffic stops made, police said they issued 202 citations, with the most common citation being for drivers not wearing their seat belts. Other citations included driver’s license violations, speeding, and equipment issues.
In addition to the 202 issued citations, officers report 15 arrests made for drivers found to be Operating While Intoxicated.
