GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A gourmet hot dog truck in Green Bay held a presentation on Thursday afternoon at the Green Bay VA hospital, celebrating a pair of $1,000 donations.
J Dogz Food Truck took a total of $2,000 in customer tips and split it in half to donate to the Disabled American Veterans and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.

In a release, owner Justin Gavin expressed gratitude for the customers whose tips helped this become possible. Gavin himself served in the military for 30 years, as well.
“Every dollar tipped is going toward those who served, and this is our way of saying thank you to the veterans who’ve given so much,” Gavin said.
Both organizations support veterans in Wisconsin and nationally.
