MANITOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) – Katrina Baur, the mother charged in connection with the death of her 3-year-old son, Elijah Vue, had a court hearing on Friday.
Court records show that Baur had a notice of hearing on the morning of June 13. Back in October, Baur pleaded not guilty to all charges, which include Chronic Neglect of a Child (Consequence is Death), a Felony B, and Neglecting a Child, a Felony I.
Elijah Vue’s remains were found in Two Rivers last September after months of searching since he had been reported missing in February 2024.

A status conference has now been pushed back and is scheduled for September 26 at 9 a.m.
Baur’s boyfriend, Jesse Vang, who reported Elijah missing, also pleaded not guilty to charges of Physical Abuse of a Child – Repeated Acts Causing Death, Hiding a Corpse, and Chronic Neglect of a Child. Vang’s next court appearance is June 20 at 9 a.m.
