TWO RIVERS, Wis. (WFRV) – A K9 with the Two Rivers Police Department is being credited with finding a man who led authorities on a high-speed pursuit that spanned three Wisconsin counties.
On June 12, the Two Rivers Police Department was called to assist in finding a suspect who reportedly fled on foot after a high-speed pursuit that spanned Ozaukee, Sheboygan, and Manitowoc Counties. The pursuit was initiated by the Wisconsin State Patrol.

K9 Xanti and his handler were called in to find the suspect who fled on foot after the pursuit ended near the 11000 block of Cooperstown Road, where the suspect abandoned his motorcycle.
The track for the suspect began in a wooded area where the suspect’s motorcycle mask was found roughly a half mile in. The track continued through dense terrain and reemerged on Cooperstown Road.

During the search, the Wisconsin State Patrol contacted the suspect, who then agreed to surrender. He was taken into custody roughly 150 yards north of Cooperstown Road, where K9 Xanti tracked him.
