FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – Officers with the Fond du Lac Police Department say they spent their weekend connecting with members of the public through two special community events.

In a post made on social media, Fond du Lac officers and CSOs joined in on the Ebony Vision’s Juneteenth Celebration at Buttermilk Creek Park. Police report the day as being vibrant and full of unity, culture, and celebrations of freedom.
On Sunday, officers and CSOs participated in the Evening Optimist Club’s Father’s Day Car & Truck Show at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds.
Police say it was a fantastic way to celebrate Father’s Day with the community as they saw classic rides and got to have conversations with local families.
