GERMANTOWN, Wis. (WFRV) – A suspect from a stabbing incident in Wisconsin that injured two people, including a 15-year-old, is now in custody after being arrested in Indiana.
According to a release from the Germantown Police Department, officers responded at 7:55 a.m. to an apartment in the 11000 block of Legend Avenue for reports of a stabbing.

Police say they were met on the scene by a 15-year-old who alerted them that her mother, a 41-year-old woman, was bleeding. While attending to the mother, the 15-year-old was also found to be hurt.
The 15-year-old was taken by ambulance to the Children’s Hospital in Wauwatosa, with the 41-year-old being taken by ambulance to the Froedtert Hospital with what was said to be life-threatening injuries.
A suspect, who had fled from the scene in an unknown vehicle prior to the arrival of police, was identified and believed to be at a gas station in Gary, Indiana.

With assistance from the Indiana State Police and the Gary Police Department, the suspect was taken into custody following a short pursuit that ended in a crash.
At this time, no other information is available. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and the Germantown Police Department has referred charges to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.
