The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
It was cool at times this weekend, but the script changes today as warm and humid air returns to Wisconsin. It’s important to stay tuned to the forecast this week as we will have multiple rounds of rain and thunderstorms where some of our communities may pick up well over 1″ of total rainfall from Monday to Saturday. As temperatures a dew points go up, there may also be a few opportunities for strong storms or severe weather.
A few rain or thunder showers mainly south of Green Bay and in central Wisconsin during the day Monday. Not everyone will see rain from this. Elsewhere, it will be mostly cloudy in the morning to partly cloudy in the afternoon with more sunshine. Highs in the low 80s and some humidity. Low 70s near the lake.
Most of Monday evening will be dry, but after 8pm until about 2am, there is a chance for scattered thunderstorms. Strong winds and downpours appear to be the greatest risk with any thunderstorm, while hail up to 1″ in diameter will be a smaller threat.
Tomorrow, partly cloudy, warm and humid weather continues with a high of 83 degrees. There is a small chance for a rain shower or thunderstorm.
Wednesday will bring a good chance for showers and thunderstorms, especially later in the day. The high is 76 degrees with humidity again.
Spotty mid-day thunderstorms on Thursday with a high of 80 degrees.
Friday will be mostly sunny and 77 degrees with a chance for thunderstorms late in the day.
Saturday morning could have a few showers or a thunderstorm lingering from Friday night. After that, hot and muggy with a high of 86 degrees!
Hot and muggy on Sunday with a high approaching 90 degrees. Plan on mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.
