The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
Tuesday will end up being one of the driest days of the work week across the state of Wisconsin. It’s going to be warm and humid again with highs in the low to middle 80s – even near the lakeshore! The west wind kicking in from 10 to 15 miles per hour will keep the cold air over the lake. Plan on a mix of clouds and sunshine.
Tonight, partly cloudy skies with a low of 64 degrees. Depending on how thunderstorms in Iowa develop during the day, there could be a small rain chance in the far southern end of the area.
It seems we won’t be avoiding the rain Wednesday. Isolated showers early on will transition to many hours of soaking rain and embedded thunderstorms. The risk for severe weather will be low, but the chance for heavy rain accumulation appears to be high. We will have many communities up and over 1 inch of rain, with higher end totals approaching 2 to 3 inches in a few spots by the end of the day.
Thursday will be dry in the morning with some sunshine, then another front will bring a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, starting across the north. The high is 82 degrees.
A few spotty showers could remain Friday, but a good chunk of the area could end up staying dry. The high is 81 degrees.
Getting hot and muggy this weekend! Becoming sunny Saturday with a high of 89 degrees.
Sunny, hot and muggy on Sunday with a high of 91 degrees.
